This exhibition celebrates the extraordinary range and versatility of style, technique, and aesthetic expression in modern Chinese prints.  It includes prints from every decade since Lu Xun founded the Modern Woodcut Movement in the 1930s.  The exhibition is curated by Mary Ginsberg and aims to connect history with the contemporary and message with style and technique.  It showcases Lu Xun’s role as an innovator in the revival of woodblock printing and his influence on modern contemporary China.
