Social Media Fest Brings Community-Focused Learning to Belfast on 29th April

Practical conference designed for small business owners, freelancers and sole traders across the island of Ireland

Belfast, Northern Ireland – Social Media Fest is hosting its next major conference on Wednesday 29th April at Clayton Hotel, Belfast, bringing together small business owners, freelancers and entrepreneurs for a day of practical learning, strategic insight and genuine community connection.

The event features confirmed speakers including Niraj Kapur, Niamh Cushnahan, Turan Mirza, Patricia Greene and Colleen O'Donnell, alongside expert roundtable facilitators discussing strategy, podcasting, Google Analytics, AI and emerging trends in social media.

Connect. Create. Conquer.

This year's theme reflects the core mission of Social Media Fest. The day is structured around helping small business owners move from confusion to confidence through peer learning, practical talks and interactive mastermind sessions.

"Social Media Fest is designed for small business owners who usually have to do everything themselves and don't know where to start or who to ask for help," says Esther Ocampo, organiser of Social Media Fest. "By attending Social Media Fest you network with like-minded professionals, learn new strategies, upgrade your knowledge and come away feeling energised by the sense of community."

What's Included

Attendees will benefit from:

  • Full day conference with expert speakers
  • Interactive mastermind sessions
  • Dedicated networking time
  • Lunch and refreshments throughout the day
  • Focus on LinkedIn and TikTok strategies
  • Access to a community of fellow small business owners
  • Growing Community Across the Island of Ireland

Social Media Fest has previously hosted events in Wexford and Dublin, building a community of over 1.5 million across social media platforms. When Ocampo took over the organisation in November, she made the strategic decision to bring the event home to Belfast and continue growing the community on both sides of the border.

"There is a real hunger from small business owners across the island of Ireland for practical learning in a supportive environment," Ocampo explains. "Belfast is the perfect next location to build on that momentum."

The event targets approximately 150 attendees, combining in-person participation with virtual attendance options.
