Rab Devlin has quietly profited for years from flipping houses under the Housing Executive’s nose—until his wife places a newspaper ad that blows his cover spectacularly. To dodge trouble, Rab invents a story of paramilitary intimidation, only to find himself “protected” by loyalists, republicans and the RUC all at once. As each group arrives in disguise, Rab desperately tries to keep their identities hidden from one another.
