One Day Experience

Step into the world of Seamus Heaney with our One Day Experience at HomePlace

Your day includes:

• 10am: A warm welcome with tea or coffee and a homemade scone in the HomePlace Café
• 10.30am – 12 noon: Entry to our award-winning exhibition, guided by Seamus Heaney’s own voice
• 12 noon: A delicious picnic box to enjoy on your journey
• Afternoon: A self-guided Open Ground trail exploring five locations that inspired his life and legacy

Take your time, explore at your own pace and experience the places that shaped one of Ireland’s greatest poets

Please note:

• This is a self-guided experience
• Runs daily throughout July from 10am (excluding Sundays)
• Tours must be booked 48 hours in advance
• Please advise us of any dietary requirements when booking
• Meals are served as set menus and drinks are not included
• Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for exploring Open Ground
