‘Phoenix Dance Theatre’ will be mesmerising audiences at Theatre at The Mill for one night only on Wednesday 5th March as part of their highly anticipated UK tour. The contemporary dance company will be presenting a diverse bill that features two thrilling new works and one classic from the company’s archive.
Document is a powerful, relentless piece by exciting choreographic duo Ivgi & Greben – their first to be performed in the UK. Didy Veldman’s See Blue Through plunges the stage into a fascinating, mysterious undersea world that features sensuous elastic choreography and costumes. Inspired by his Mapping series, Darshan Singh Bhuller’s latest work is filled with dynamic, physical choreography.
‘Phoenix Dance Theatre’ will also be delivering workshops in local schools throughout the province as they teach aspiring Performing Arts and Dance students some of their poised yet thrilling instruction of movement.
