Hogfest Update 14th August

The 14th of August is only a few days away!  Plans are well underway for the 2010 Hogfest to be held at LCDI in Limavady.

Kidsfest will run from 3 pm – 6 pm with a £5 entry fee for 1 adult and 3 children.  This will give a limited number of free rides on the provided amusements and include a free BBQ, drink, face painting for the kids.  Kidsfest is a fancy dress event with prizes for the best dressed.  The Texas Kickers Line Dancers will also be there in the afternoon.  Anything else we can get to entertain will be there on the day.

The Hogfest itself begins at 7 pm.  Tickets to the Hogfest are £20 per person.  No under 14s will be permitted and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  A complimentary glass of wine will be provided.  Tickets must be retained to get access to the food.  Entertainment will be provided in the form of music, thanks to Big Band Sound and the Derry Jazz Quartet.  Snail Racing will be a bonus, with a Charity Auction and various draws throughout the evening.  Spot prizes will be given for best headgear, best creative dress, and best hen party/stag party/group dress!

A tour of the old workhouse will also be provided commencing at 9 pm.
