Conor Pope is a journalist, author and broadcaster. As The Irish Times Consumer Affairs Correspondent he deals with topics as diverse as personal finance, tourism, retailing and property, and frequently comes to the aid of readers who have been upset by
businesses and service providers. He has radio slots on Today FM, RTE and Newstalk and recently appeared on RTE’s top-rated Celebrity Masterchef. Before developing an interest in consumer issues – and cooking! – he was the deputy editor of The Irish
Times website and worked exclusively in a online environment for more than a decade from 1996.
