Amanda St John at Ward Park This Sunday

North Down Borough Council’s Summer Sundays continue this Sunday, 20 July with the very talented Amanda St John and her Band performing at The Bandstand in Ward Park.

A vibrant singer-songwriter from Glenariffe, Amanda’s songs are soul and blues influenced and are communicated through powerful, emotive vocals. She has appeared on various BBC and RTE radio and television programmes and been described by Ralph McLean (BBC Radio Ulster) as “a wonderfully talented songwriter.”

Having supported Brain Kennedy and Eddie Reader this year Amanda and her band are becoming known for their lively sets which are filled with funky grooves and a high standard of musicality. Having been compared to Imelda May and Paloma Faith her live gigs are a must see!

The show runs from 3pm – 5pm so gather your friends and family, pack the picnic and don’t miss it!
