It’s Fun! Fun! Fun! for everyone as Banbridge District Council host their annual St Patrick’s Family Fun Day in the town’s Solitude Park on Saturday 14 March.
The craic kicks off at 2pm and runs until 4pm, and will feature a host of performances and activities guaranteed to get you in the mood for a bit of a jig and a hoolie!
Winners of Buskfest 2013, Worn Down Shoes, make a welcome return to the district when they hit the stage and keep the crowds entertained with their fantastic mix of lively blues and country rock.
And if that’s not enough, local group Parcel of Rogues also be bring their own brand of fine foot tapping folk to the show.
Activities on the day include fun inflatables and amusement rides suitable for children and young people, face painting, balloon modellers, a climbing tower, storytelling and arts & crafts workshops.
You can also have a hoot with an amazing animal display from the wonderful World of Owls, or why not join in the fun of the treasure hunt, you never know what you might find!
You are also invited to come along and meet the Fizzy Fairy and some her forest friends like the Woodland Willow, Hazel the Nutty Nymph and the Wizzy Leprechaun, who will be sure to have you craicing-up with their mischief and mirth.
Admission to this celebration of culture, which is supported by Banbridge District Council Good Relations Programme, is FREE and everyone from the district and beyond is warmly welcome to come along and join in the party.
