The Crew of Portrush Lifeboat Station would like to extend a warm welcome to all visitors to our town.
We would like to ensure holiday makers have a great time as well as a safe time and would ask that they observe simple safety rules when playing on the beautiful beaches:

– inflatables are dangerous.  Never let children play on their own with inflatables.

– keep an eye on children at all times. They can wander off quickly and the sea holds a real fascination for them.

– do not mix the sea and alcohol.

– if you are going out on a craft, make sure someone knows where you are going and what time you   intend to be back.

– ALWAYS wear a lifejacket, even if you consider yourself an experienced sailor.
