Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is calling for you to suit up in your superhero gear, decorate your bicycle and get on your bike!
On Sunday 26th July at 7pm Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is organising a special superhero bike ride for all the family along Larne Main Street.
The free event follows on from a very successful Giro d’Italia events held last year and a pirate ride held in June as part of the Larne Alive Maritime Festival.
This is a great chance to enjoy a summer evening bike ride in Larne. There will be plenty of entertainment at Broadway bandstand with live music and special guest heroes! There will also be refreshments available to keep all our superheroes and maybe the odd villain going as they cycle the route. Participants may even want to create their own superhero character and dress up to take part in the best dressed superhero competition.
Avengers/Participants are welcome to assemble at Broadway Bandstand from 6.45pm onwards for a 7pm start.
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and all participants must wear a cycle helmet. Anyone not wearing a helmet will not be permitted to take part.
Parking on Main Street will be limited during the event for a period of 1 hour and members of the public are encouraged to use the Town Centre car parks available, located close to the Main Street.
This is a great opportunity to get active and have fun in Larne Town Centre!
