In the Game of Thrones Indonesian Shadow Art Workshop at the Market Place Theatre this Saturday you will use the intricate shadow art of Wayang Kulit to make your own Game of Thrones character. Firstly draw and cut-out your favourite character, then using a scalpel, a hammer and hollow hole punches create intricate details for your shadow puppet, then piece the puppet together with bamboo canes. You can then try putting on a shadow play using a screen and lights and perform a favourite scene. Suitable for 16+.

Following the phenomenal success of the Musical Drama ‘PADDY’ in 2015, it makes a welcome return to the Millennium Forum this weekend. ‘Paddy’ tells the story of emigration in all its shapes and forms. The two-hour production tells the story of a young Irish emigrant called Patrick Murphy (played by Tommy Fleming) who leaves Mayo in the 1960’s in search of fame and fortune. The show follows his life in both London city and Ireland over a 25 year period.
