Local historian Mr S. Alex Blair makes a welcome return to Ballymoney Town Hall on Wednesday 25th January with his spring series of local history talks.
This first talk will explore the life of Lord Macartney of Lisanoure, Loughgiel. In his life of achievement, Lord Macartney met and talked with notables such as Catherine the Great, The Empress of Russia and the Great Khan of China.
He was one of the most illustrious British diplomats of his day and his life ensures to be a great talking point.
Mr Blair will also lead talks on different topics on Wednesday 22nd February and Wednesday 22nd March.
The talks begin at 8pm and cost £2 to attend.
