Summer officially arrives at the Ward Park Bandstand on Sunday 2^nd July when this much loved music in the park programme starts.

Now in its 12^th year, happening every Sunday throughout July and August, between 3pm and 5pm. This year’s line-up offers a different vibe each week including Rock ‘n’ Roll, brass, blues, flamenco and punk ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy!

First up will be the fantastic Jazzmeisters playing a cool mix of hot swing and classic standards made famous by icons such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and modern maestro Jamie Cullum.

Please note this week’s performance is at the later time of 4pm to facilitate the Somme Service in the park.
