Grab a picnic and head to Ward Park Bandstand this Sunday 13th August for an afternoon of folk-blues originals performed by Tony Villiers and The Villains.
Tony Villiers and The Villains are popular for their unique blend of folk-blues originals which comprise of vocalist plus guitarist Paul Meehan, percussionist Aidan McGillian and bassist Kevin Mahoney. With influences ranging from Bob Dylan, Leadbelly and Jimmy Reed to Lou Reed, Hank Williams and Woody Guthrie, you can enjoy an afternoon of top class live music as part of the Summer Music in the Park programme this August.
Grab your friends, family and a picnic blanket and head down to Ward Park to listen to great tunes on a Sunday afternoon between 3-5pm.
This is a FREE event. Please note that Ward Park is an alcohol-free zone. All events are weather dependent and therefore subject to change. This year’s music programme is in association with Open House Festival.
