The Causeway Coast Marathon will take place on Saturday 23 September 2017. Runners from across the world will once again step up to the start line in one of the Causeway Coast events. Having established itself as one of the most scenic marathons in the world the 2017 event is set to attract participants from across the globe that will come to compete alongside fellow runners on this fantastic route. Damhead Miniature Railway, in the heart of the countryside between Coleraine and Ballymoney, is a great place to visit with the children. The small trains can be travelled on by both the kids and adults and the track covers one third of a mile. There are picnic facilities on site.

Join Loughs Agency Riverwatch Team and The Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust, as we investigate the River Roe. We will be looking at maps of the River Roe and the Roe Valley as well as investigating the species of fish and invertebrate that inhabit the River itself.
