Dawn (1928) is a silent film that tells the story of World War 1 martyr Edith Cavell, a nurse who risked her own life by rescuing prisoners of war from the Germans.  She was aided by Madame Ada Bodart, a Newry-born woman who plays herself in the film.  The movie is accompanied by pianist Darius Battiwalla, who has composed a score specifically for the movie. Showing at Newry Town Hall, Friday 2nd February at 8.00pm

See the  wonderful displays of snowdrops planted over the years by staff and volunteers at the Argory this Saturday 3rd February at the Snowdrop Walk. You Must Be Joking,  this Saturday at the Ardhowen Theatre Enniskillen. This show is comedy stand-up heaven.  Fun and laughter for all ages is guaranteed, as four of the North’s best known comedians take to the stage.  With the ever endearing Jimmy Cricket, the first lady of Irish comedy May McFettridge, William Caulfield and Gene Fitzpatrick. Compere for the evening is May McFetridge’s long suffering driver John Linehan.

The Ceilidh is back! Enjoy a great evening of Scottish Country and Ceilidh dancing this Friday evening at the Burnavon Theatre Cookstown.
