Roe Valley Speciality Market, Limavady, County Londonderry, 5 April. This lovely central outdoor space is next to the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre in the centre of Limavady town.- Fermenting Workshop at Broughgammon Farm, Ballycastle, County Antrim, 6 April. Discover the Art of Fermentation at Broughgammon Farm. In their hands-on seasonal fermenting workshop, you’ll dive into the art of fermenting, crafting delicious sauerkraut and kimchi using freshly harvested ingredients from their regeneratively managed fields.
- Rags and Riches Walking Tour at Antrim Castle Gardens, Antrim, County Antrim, 6 April. Join the rangers for this interesting workshop exploring our local history and people, followed by a walking tour of Antrim Town Centre, Pogues Entry and the All Saints Church.
- Ranger Led Tour of Antrim Castle Gardens, Antrim, County Antrim, 5 April – 29 June. This ranger-led guided tour of Antrim Castle Gardens takes approximately one hour and involves an easy walk over flat ground. The tour focusses on the general history of the 350-year-old gardens alongside the remnants of the Massereene family dynasty, dating back to 1573.
- Insect Animation: Digital Art Workshop at WWT Castle Espie Wetland Centre, Comber, County Down, 6 April. Create a wetland insect and learn how to animate your new character on a mini wetland adventure. Using iPads, stylus pens and the Procreate app, kids can get creative and learn new digital art skills through this guided workshop with Boom Studios. From dazzling dragonflies darting across a pond, to water beetles diving under the surface, the wetlands are full of inspiration for your animated adventure.
- Foraging Afloat with Strangford Lough Activity Centre, Killinchy, County Down, 6 April. Spring is arriving on Strangford Lough and with it the arrival of an array of seasonal wild food from the land and water. Join Rory Martin of Strangford Lough Activity Centre and David Thompson & Celia Spouncer from Wild About Tours for a unique guide to the sights and flavour of the area.
- Scarva Bandstand Concerts, Scarva, County Down, 6 April (Sundays until 28 September). Scarva Bandstand concerts will take place at the bandstand, Scarva each Sunday from 3-4pm starting Sunday 6 April and running weekly until Sunday 28 September. There will be no concert on Easter Sunday, 20 April. Admission is free, and limited seating will be provided.

- Legendary Navan Fort Tour, Armagh, County Armagh, 1 April – 30 September. Step into the story of the ancient capital of Ulster and seat of Kings, as you visit the legendary Navan Fort (Emain Macha). This site is one of Ireland’s most significant archaeological landmarks, with their guided tours providing a unique opportunity to delve into the mysteries of the great temple, constructed around 95 BC, and discover the fascinating history behind its creation.
