Nathan Flatman, Marketing Officer, Alley Theatre Strabane

As the Alley Theatre is nearing the end of our current sponsorship of the events section on Whatsonni.com I would like to offer you feedback on how we have found your services.

From the moment you made contact, you have been very helpful in dealing with our advertising needs and I have been delighted by the response from potential customers in Northern Ireland. When reviewing our website hits via Google Analytics, your website is ranked as the third largest provider of new traffic to our site after Google and Bing, leaving your fellow events listing competitors far behind in the rankings. This has only been achieved by your hard work in designing a very accessible events website with well maintained social network micro-sites.

I must also thank you for supporting our Alley Facebook page by suggesting our page to your members. Your recommendation increased our Facebook membership by 130% in 3 days, a feat I have not seen achieved by any other site we have linked into.

In conclusion, I must state your site has increased interest in the Alley Theatre website and our social networking pages, but more importantly it has also converted your website members into sales in our box office, the most important element! I have no hesitation in stating we would like to look at a 6-12 month campaign, which I would like to start once our current campaign runs out.

Eva Garland, Marketing Administrator, Women in Business NI

Just dropping you a quick email to let you know that advertising our events via your whatsonni website has proven to be very successful for Women Into Business in generating interest to both our websites and the events themselves- and best of all its completely free! It is such a user friendly site and so comprehensive I have yet to find another local site to rival it.

Also as a visitor to your websites perspective, myself and my family have found out about some really fantastic local events that we most probably would never have known about if it were not for whatsonni! Keep up the excellent work and thanks again.

Allyson McKimm, Events Director, Hastings Hotels

Just a quick note to say many thanks for all your help with promoting our forthcoming events.  It has been an invaluable assistance to us being able to load up our forthcoming events on your website and giving events such as Halloween Ball at the Culloden, our Christmas party nights and Valentines Ball that extra boost in sales.

By posting our events on your site and running competitions we have managed to raise awareness of these events, also using your fan base with Facebook & Twitter – and where possible, sell a few more tickets at each event.

Thanks again for all your help and support.

Vinny Hurrell, The Vinny Hurrell Show Feile FM

I would love to recommend Whatsonni.com to anyone. It is an excellent resource. We find stories for our radio show on a weekly basis. It provides specific, accurate, interesting events to cover. Always with the appropriate contact information.

Jackie from Whatsonni.com also contributes to the Feile FM drivetime programme, highlighting what not to miss at the weekend.

The information stretches across Northern Ireland and is not Belfast-centric like some other event information sites.Whatsonni – is the best resource we have.

Sarah Hughes, QFT Press and Marketing Officer

I am more than happy to recommend Jacqueline McGonigle and www.whatsonni.com .  Since they burst onto the scene recently they have been an invaluable tool for QFT in promoting our screenings and events.  The take-up on their Facebook group speaks for itself, with nearly 5000 members at the time of writing.

This is a site and a service which Northern Ireland audiences, venues, events and marketing staff are crying out for and I’ve been very impressed at its performance to date.

Jacqueline herself is extremely helpful and on the ball – she has a real skill and passion for event promotion, and it shows!

Darren Gardiner, Ground Espresso Bars

I just wanted to drop you a line to say that the response we have had at our Acoustic Cafe evenings in Ground from ‘whatsonni’ has been fantastic. The link through Twitter and Facebook seems to draw many people in and I do believe that posting our events on your site is a fantastic and unique way to get the information out into the public realm. Keep up the good work!

Mags Byrne, Director Digimumsni Limited

Whatsonni is a fantastic resource for parents in Northern Ireland. It’s your one-stop-shop for finding out what to do with the kids on weekends and of course entertainment for mums and dads too. When establishing its new parenting website digimumsni didn’t hesitate in calling Jacqueline from Whatsonni to provide us with our weekly what’s on guide as we knew she’d give us a thorough and localised offering of entertainment for families in Northern Ireland.

The whatsonni website is an invaluable resource and with a huge following and fan base on Twitter and Facebook it has a reach that is the envy of any business.  Jacqueline’s friendly, professional and supportive approach has made her and whatsonni a favourite for all local businesses and families alike.  I couldn’t recommend whatsonni highly enough.

Vittoria Caffola, Marketing and Press, The Black Box Belfast

We at the Black Box find the Whatsonni website incredibly useful- we have very little in the way of a marketing budget and are always looking for ways to publicize our events for free, to as many people as possible.  Jacqueline and her team have been extremely helpful at helping us achieve this,  since the site launched last year.
We feel that Whatsonni is definitely one of the most comprehensive sites for events in Northern Ireland at present, and promote almost all of our events on it.   It has played a large part in drawing a new demographic through the doors of the Black Box, as well as promoting our venue and events throughout the region as a whole.

Jeff Whur, NI

I have four daughters between the ages of 12 and 16 and we are always looking for new and different things to do as a family. I found the ‘Whats on NI’ website via Facebook in the summer and we were able to find and plan new activities and attend new events we hadnt heard of or weren’t aware of via the website. The information was topical, up to date and detailed and just what we were looking for.

Apart from official Sites such as gobelfast this is the only resource of its kind that I have found in Northern Ireland and I have recommended it to friends and family who have also found it useful. Its well designed and up to date and exactly what families with children need to find out whats on,where and when.
