Kids Go Free – HMS Caroline – This Weekend

To celebrate the success of the first season open as a five-star rated attraction, unique First World War ship, HMS Caroline will be hosting an action-packed weekend of activities that are free for kids (0 – 16 years).

This weekend (October 22nd and 23rd), bring the little ones along and watch as they become an ‘objective detective’ by identifying mystery maritime objects. They can listen to traditional sea shanties with Young at Art from 11am to 3pm and chat to HMS Caroline’s puppet captain as he roams the ship, follow family trails and discover all the areas on board.

Why not join the storytelling workshop with Performing Starz on Saturday? This workshop is recommended for 3–8 year olds, and runs from 11am–12noon. Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Please call 028 9045 4484 to book.

Get crafty on Sunday and join the Young at Art team creating Sea Creature Crafts. Be sure to visit the Mess Deck café on board and car parking is free, located beside the ship.

The ship is open from 10am until 6pm, last admission 5.15pm. We recommend 1 hour 30 minutes for the self-guided tour. Activities will be running from 11am to 4.30pm both days.

This is your final chance to visit in 2016 as HMS Caroline will close for refurbishment from 23rd Oct until Spring 2017.
