Come join Hugh Tinney as he celebrates his 60th birthday with an evening of classical music at the Market Place Theatre in Armagh.
Part of a tour to twelve venues around Ireland, the pianist and audiences will come together to celebrate the astonishing piano repertoire developed by the very greatest composers from Bach to the present.
The recital programme will feature works by Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Ian Wilson and Thomas Adés.
Since winning major piano competitions in Italy and Spain in 1983 and ’84, Hugh Tinney has performed in more than thirty-five countries throughout Europe, the USA, Latin America and the Far East.
He continues to be a major contributor to Irish concert life in recital, chamber music and teaching.
