Staff at the Millennium Forum’s award winning in-house restaurant, Encore Brasserie, are celebrating today after learning that they have been nominated for three categories for the prestigious Irish Restaurant Awards – ‘Best Casual Dining’, ‘Best Customer Service’ and ‘Best Head Chef’.
The Irish Restaurant Awards are the largest and most coveted awards in the Irish Restaurant Industry; recognising high achievement and excellence in the Restaurant and Hospitality Industry throughout the thirty-two counties of Ireland across twenty-one categories, the awards celebrate all aspects of the Industry from Chefs and Restaurants, Cafes and Gastro Pubs, to Food Producers, Local Food Heroes and Cookery Schools.

The Ulster Regional Awards for the Irish Restaurant Awards will take place on Wednesday 17th at the Merchant Hotel in Belfast and Encore Brasserie will be up against Derry’s finest restaurants.
Nominations for the Awards are made by readers of the Sunday Independent LIFE Magazine and members of the Restaurants Association of Ireland.
