Armagh

It’s a busy weekend this weekend at the Argory! On Saturday hundreds of vintage vehicles will descend upon The Argory as they host their famous vintage vehicle rally. A must-see event for all vehicle enthusiasts. Then on Sunday you’re invited to step back to the 1800s for a Victorian Tea Party to see what really went on behind closed doors in the Victorian big house. Get the gossip from the Housekeeper and the Lady’s Maid and enjoy a delightful afternoon tea; finger sandwiches, Victoria sponge, homemade scones and other traditional delights.

Fermanagh

This County Armagh based Big Band PM features the classic line-up of trumpets, trombones and saxophones and will perform live at the Ardhowen Theatre this Saturday evening at 8.00pm.  The band’s programme recreates the sound of the swing era, playing the music of famous big bands such as Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington and Count Basie; the music of the ‘Great American Songbook’ and singers such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and Michael Buble; and swing interpretations of modern standards.

A Slice of Broadway Comes to the Riverside Theatre Coleraine from 24th April for 10 shows only as the Musical Portrush Music Society return with Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webbers iconic and award winning musical Evita.  Evita is the spellbinding story of Eva, a poor Argentine girl born out of wedlock who grows into a dynamic, larger-than life woman who marries the former Argentine dictator Juan Peron which leads her to be worshipped by the people of Argentina.

Kilcoan Gardens, Islandmagee opens its gates to the public this Saturday and Sunday. Come and enjoy a tour of the garden with a focus on keeping colour and interest in your garden in spring. Followed by tea, coffee and homebaked treats. Plants will be available to purchase.
