EastSide Arts Festival, 19th – 31st August, supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, is just around the corner with 12-days of events across the EastSide and beyond; 33 of these are FREE and there are lots of family activities.
Highlights including: Ciara O’Malley’s mobile space project featuring her interactive caravan of art located at Connswater Pocket Park; Making It Up Story workshops at Skainos; Storytelling at Short Strand Community Centre and Cregagh Library; Craft Workshops with Redhead Thread at Short Strand Community Centre and Belmont Tower and the fantastic Orangefield Park Celebrations on August 29, organised by Connswater Community Greenway, featuring workshops, music and street theatre.
