Catch Me – The Chase is On!

Little Red Riding Hood takes flight in this classic fairy-tale with an aerial circus spin.

Fidget Feet are an Irish aerial circus company, a little like a very small Cirque de Soleil. They mix circus tricks, acrobatics and dance to tell the story of Little Red Riding Hood.

Come and watch this thrilling story on Friday 12 February retold, as Red Riding Hood and the Wolf swing high above the audience in a forest of over 250 metres of circus ropes.  Full of Fidget Feet’s trademark playfulness, Catch Me is a stunning mix of aerial feats and theatre that is suitable for children and adults (suitable for smaller children however parents should be aware there are a few scary moments that may frighten little children).

With an original score and visual projections that come alive around the performers, no two shows can ever be the same.

“You are left utterly stunned. Excellent.” The Irish Times

Fidget Feet tell their stories anywhere they can think of; in theatres, from cranes, hidden in forests, or swinging from buildings all over the world.  Their performances are for everyone and they love to find new ways of telling their stories to new people.

Why not make this a mid-term treat for the whole family.  Tickets from £8 available from Box Office 028 9034 0202 or online www.theatreatthemill.com.

The first run of the tour kicked off last night in Manchester at the Eventim Apollo to a sold out crowd and travels to London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Birmingham and Leeds.

In 2016 Dynamo will now also be performing at; Brighton Centre, Motorpoint Arena Cardiff, Bournemouth BIC, Motorpoint Arena Sheffield, the Echo Arena Liverpool, the SSE Arena Belfast and finishing at Dublin’s 3Arena.

Dynamo, whose real name is Steven Frayne, hit our screens just three years ago with his first series of Magician Impossible, in that short time he has quickly established himself as one of the world’s most known and most loved magicians, with his series airing in over 180 countries worldwide reaching over 250 million cumulative viewers across the world. He was recently awarded the highest accolade by the magic circle with his promotion to Member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star, a position only held by 300 magicians worldwide, including HRH Prince of Wales.

Dynamo said of his new venture, “After four series of Magician Impossible, I was ready for a new challenge and for a long time I have wanted to take my show to the stage. I am hoping that like I did for magic on TV, I can reinvent the live magic show and produce something fans have never seen before. This is something I have been working towards for the last 20 years and I can’t wait to amaze audiences what I have in store for them. I can’t wait to get to Dublin, one of my favourite cities and it’s the perfect place for us to finish the tour.”

The loveable Maggie Muff is back in the highly anticipated sequel to 50 Shades of Red White and Blue and Dirty Dancin in le Shebeen.

Maggie’s Feg Run arrives at the Millennium Forum for one night only on Friday 19th August.  Tickets are now on sale from the Box Office and are priced from £14.50.

And you’ll never guess who makes an appearance at the All-Inclusive breakfast buffet……

VALENTINES NIGHTS OUT AT THE MARKET PLACE

Grainne Duffy is a unique talent, raw and powerful, edgy and elegant. So far in her short career, Grainne has already graced the stage at Glastonbury for three electric performances and has toured much of Europe.

Recently Grainne was asked to open for Jools Holland on his tour. Her wonderful mix of blues rock and soul in her own material and her treatment of a few carefully selected standards, charged with true emotion and feeling can win over any audience and leave you begging for more. Grainne will take to the stage on Saturday 6 February at 8pm. Tickets are priced £14 each.

With Valentine’s just a few days away, why not treat a loved one to a night of great music and food at our popular Valentine’s Jazz Supper Club on Friday 12 February. Taking centre stage will be the hugely popular Martello Jazz Band who feature a sound reminiscent of the Dixieland bands of 1920’s New Orleans, stamped with their own brand of drive and flair. The menu for the evening will include spiced BBQ pork with stir-fried vegetables, creamy chicken pasta, Cajun spiced meatballs, all served with Cajun wedges, salads and breads. Tickets for the evening are £11 for the performance only, or £21 which includes supper.

An ideal Valentine treat for you and your loved one is the inimitable Eddi Reader. Having first hit the limelight in the 1980’s with the group ‘Fairground Attraction’ [who enjoyed huge chart success with their debut No.1 single ‘Perfect’ and album ‘First Of A Million Kisses’], Eddi went on to collaborate on many celebrated projects throughout the years, famously harmonizing with Annie Lennox while touring with ‘The Eurythmics’. However, it has been Eddi’s subsequent solo albums that have cemented her image as a powerful figure in British music. With an MBE for outstanding contributions to the arts, three BRIT awards, a number one single and eight critically acclaimed solo albums, what sets Eddi apart is the depth and quality of the performance. Eddi will perform on Saturday 13 February at 8pm. Tickets are priced £16 each.
