The Comber Potato Festival takes place this Saturday 7th June. Food stalls will feature cheeses, chocolates, pies, deserts and much more.  Entertainment on the day will include cookery demonstrations, live music, The Ark Open Farm, a treasure hunt and children’s potato art workshops.  Local businesses will be joining in the celebrations with Comber Early themed shop window displays.

Legendary Belfast comedian Roy Walker – ‘King of Norn Iron Deadpan’, and star of the phenomenally successful ITV game show ‘Catchphrase’ – brings his successful one-man show to the Burnavon Cookstown for the first time ever on Friday 6th June.  A comedian with over 30 years stand-up to his name, and a cult figure with a whole new fan base from his ‘Carpark Catchphrase’ feature on Chris Moyles’ Radio 1 breakfast show, a great night’s entertainment is guaranteed!

Liskaskea Historical Society presents the Olde Tyme Market Day on Friday 6th June 2014 9.30am- 12.00pm in the Corn Market Yard, Lisnaskea.   The added attraction this year will be the presence of the American Consul General Gregory S. Burton from 10.00 -10.30am and some World War 2 American jeeps.  As usual the children will be selling the wares brought from their school and any money they make will be taken back for their school funds. Please come, buy and support the children and their schools!

Join in the fun this Saturday 7th June at Springhill Moneymore and enjoy the largest vintage vehicle rally in Mid-Ulster. Hundreds of vehicles and items of machinery will be on display with lots of fun for all the family. Hosted by the Mid Ulster Vintage Vehicles Club.

Dance yourself dizzy at the Market Place Theatre Workshop for Mini Movers for slightly older children this Saturday 7th June.  A professional tutor from the Cadwallader School of Dancing will take you through your paces in an action pack dance session in Ballroom and Latin Dancing. Come along and join in the fun and make new friends by learning some basics in Salsa, Jive, Cha Cha Cha, and learn some Street Dancing too! Dancing is for pleasure, love it forever.

The Courtyard Theatre Cinema Club presents Cars this Sunday 8th June at 2.30pm.  A hot-shot race-car names Lightening McQueen gets waylaid in Radiator Springs, where he finds the true meaning of friendship and family.
