National Scrapbooking Day – Saturday 7 May

Saturday 7 May 2016 is National Scrapbooking Day, in which “Scrappers” come together to enjoy a community event.

They will share stories in the creative form of Scrapbooking and meet like-minded people from different backgrounds, but having a common bond through this hobby.

To celebrate National Scrapbooking Day, this special event “MOMENTS AND MEMORIES” will take place on Saturday 7 May in the Linen Suite at Mossley Mill from 11am-3pm.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Thomas Hogg commented “Scrapbooking is  a fantastic hobby which allows you to get creative and meet new friends” Tutor Jacqui Milliken who has over 12 years’ experience in teaching Scrapbooking, will show you how to be imaginative, turning  your photos into pages of memories and creative works of art.

The cost is £10 which includes tea/coffee, scones and all materials to complete the project.  No experience necessary. Please bring along photos, scissors and a ruler.
