Pride & Prejudice at The Walled Garden

This year North Down Borough Council’s Theatre at The Walled Garden will be a production of Jane Austen’s much-loved classic Pride & Prejudice, produced by Heartbreak Productions who will be making a welcome return to the venue following the success of last year’s Romeo & Juliet.

Adding to North Down Borough Council’s already packed Summer Events Programme, this event will include two nights of outdoor theatre in the beautiful surroundings of Bangor Castle Walled Garden and will take place on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd July.  Shows start at 7.30pm on both nights.

As siblings squabble and passion-fuelled fall-outs abound, this inventive production combines dance, music and song to create an unforgettable interactive interpretation of the much-loved classic.  A combination of Jane Austen’s delicate yet intense observational style with the wit and affection of Heartbreak’s writer in residence David Kerby Kendall ensures that this hilarious adaption will resonate with anyone who has ever been in any relationship.
